The Nigeria Climate Adaptation – Erosion and Watershed Project(NEWMAP-EIB) is a European
Investment Bank (EIB) donor funded Project with the aim to reduce vulnerability to soil erosion
in targeted sub-watersheds. The Project duration is Five (5) years. The project was a request by
the Federal Government of Nigeria to scale up activities implemented under the Nigeria Erosion
and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) IDA Funded.
