Garkuwa Muhammad Iliya is an environmental management and sustainability professional with academic background in Earth and Environmental Science. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography, a Master's degree in Environmental Management, and a Ph.D. in Natural Resources Management and Climate Change. With over eight years of professional experience spanning government and private sector institutions, he has contributed to environmental management, sustainability initiatives, occupational health and safety, climate change adaptation, environmental compliance, and natural resource governance. His professional experience includes service with the State Ministry of Environment, Kano Electricity Distribution Company, and the Nigerian Climate Adaptation – Erosion and Watershed Project (NEWMAP-EIB)
